CS:S Stockholm Magnetik replace REAL

After weeks of speculation regarding Sondre "REAL" Svanevik’s future in the franchise, Cadred yesterday revealed that Daniel “giftig” Ivarsson has flown out to the United States to compete with the team in the UK/EU Finals. Rumours started after it was apparent that REAL was having serious PC problems, and hence could not participate with the team in practice sessions.

It became clear that Stockholm Magnetik’s General Manager, Emil "HeatoN" Christensen was interested in picking up Swedish L.A compLexity star Marcus "zet" Sundstrom after he made clear his intentions to return to main land Europe after a brief spell in the States. This, unfortunately for Christensen, was not allowed by CGS rulings as Sundstrom had technically already competed in the States by attending the draft itself. The CGS’s blocking of the transfer resulted in Christensen having to look elsewhere, and where else to look than Swedish star giftig whom shone before in Reason Gaming before creating the recent Counter-Strike: Source team in Four Kings.

Daniel Ivarsson was not an easy pickup for Stockholm Magnetik however, with Emil Christensen having to pay Four Kings off to release him from their contractual agreement with the player for his full services in compliance with CGS rulings. With the payment made, Daniel Ivarsson is free to compete for Stockholm Magnetik although no official statement has been made by the franchise.

Four Kings, despite rumours, will not give up just yet and are currently in the process of trialling potential fifth members. Amongst these trialees, it has come to Cadreds attention that none other than former SK Gaming and Lag Blank member Christopher "GeT_RiGhT" Alesund was attempting to player Counter-Strike: Source for the team. However, his trial was ended with his decision to return back to Counter-Strike after he found that he disliked the game.

I often wonder how many 1.6 pro's tell they dislike the game because secretly they weren't up to par with the rest (not talking aim-wise).
