COD4 European top 10 announced

With the three main summer LAN's wrapping up, The Experience, Antwerp E-Sport's Festival and Multiplay's I34 event, Top team LowLandLions have released their version of the "European Top 10"

After the antepenultimate event's of the summer had finished (The Experience, Antwerp E-Sport's Festival and the Multiplay I34 event) LowLandLions took it upon themselves to collect votes from the top teams and hugely respected names in the Call of Duty 4 scene. All teams and personalities are based in europe. The results can be viewed below.

Note: Votes were taken before any team-changes occurred.

Voted number one this summer is The Experience Runner's up and Multiplay I34 Winners, LowLandLions! Just making it into the top 10 is the French team `H2K`, just beating `4Kings` to the tenth spot.

The overall votes consist of 30 expert opinions along with votes from representatives of TEK9, LowLandLions, Infused, Four Kings, Team Dignitas, Fnatic, H2k Gaming, Button Bashers, Roskilde Ravens, Reason Gaming, Serious Gaming, Team Impact, Team Druidz, sP Gaming, UF Gaming, PGS Gaming, eSuba, Fastswitch.no, Sample This, Team SPEED-LINK, Team Logitech.fi, NCS Gaming, Copenhagen eSports, KomaCrew and some of the most respected community members, including Morg (Meet Your Makers Team Manager) nano (TEK9 Editorial Crew) bidy (Fnatic Editorial Crew) Hendrik (Meet Your Makers Editorial Crew) Bounty (eSports4all Editorial Crew) and deffan (CallofDuty.se Editorial Crew).

The points system used for the Top 10 is very simple. Each team places their top 10 in ascending order, Rank number one being the highest, Ten being lowest. You can see how many points each team gets per rank below.

1st. - 100 pts
2nd. - 85 pts
3rd. - 75 pts
4th. - 50 pts
5th. - 40 pts
6th. - 30 pts
7th. - 25 pts
8th. - 20 pts
9th. - 10 pts
10th. - 5 pts

LowLandLions say they will produce a similar "Top 10 Ranking" when the next batch of events have passed and the Call of duty 4 community can see how well the new line-ups have done after those event's and if they did better than the last one according to the community.

A great idea and we hope the hard work continues for the Autumn/Winter LAN's ahead in coming October, November and December and beyond.
